3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk, and a strikeout in a win over the Padres. Gregorius missed over a month with an elbow injury, but looked good in his return to the lineup on Friday. The veteran shortstop is having a down season as he's slashing just .231/.273/.338 in 33 games. His 20.5 percent strikeout rate is better than MLB average, but still Gregorius' highest mark since his rookie year in 2012. He's good for some cheap power from the middle-infield spot, but Gregorius is trending down in fantasy and is best left on waivers in standard-sized leagues. He's got rough matchups in his next two games as he'll see Yu Darvish and left-hander Blake Snell.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
