Didi Gregorius Not Playing Monday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius (hand) remains out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Colorado Rockies. Gregorius will miss his fifth straight game due to a bruised left hand suffered last Tuesday, but he's making progress and could be available in a pinch-hitting role after taking batting practice on Sunday, according to manager Joe Girardi. When Gregorius does return, it will be as the team's everyday starting shortstop. Johan Camargo entered Sunday's game 7-for-14 with a home run in Gregorius' absence, and he will play short again on Monday against Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland while batting eighth in the lineup.
