6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius (elbow) will conclude his throwing program this week and the organization has targeted May 20 for the veteran to begin playing in extended spring training games in Florida. There is still no word on when he'll be able to play in minor-league rehab games, or when he'll be back with the big club, but he is at least making some progress. Gregorius is making his way back from reconstructive elbow surgery, so fantasy owners need to be patient. An educated guess would be a return at or around the All-Star break, but that's nothing official.--Daniel Dobish
