4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Diego Castillo recorded his eighth save of the season on Saturday, allowing one hit with one strikeout over one inning of work against the Blue Jays. It was his first save since coming off the injured list last week, as he now owns a 3.38 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings of work this year. Castillo remains the main guy to roster in Tampa Bay's bullpen, but he will lose a few saves here and there to other guys like Pete Fairbanks and Andrew Kittredge.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
