4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Diego Castillo (groin) was activated from the injured list on Friday, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Castillo has been sidelined with right groin tightness since May 5, but it looks like he only needed a minimal stint on the injured list before he could return to action. Now that he's healthy, Castillo will slot back in as the main closer for Tampa Bay, as he has seven saves, a 3.14 ERA and a 34.5 percent strikeout rate over 14 appearances.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
