Dillon Thomas Starting For The First Time Wednesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Dillon Thomas will make his first career start Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers, having been called up from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. With Kyle Lewis out for an undetermined time, and Jarred Kelenic in the minors, Thomas has an opportunity to earn regular playing time in the short term. He was tearing up Triple-A pitching so far this season, with a .338/.459/.625 slash line and six homers in 25 games. Fantasy managers can take a wait-and-see approach with Thomas, but this ten-year minor league veteran could become an unlikely contributor.
