3 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet will make his first spring start Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants. The 28-year-old's brilliant campaign was cut short last season with a biceps injury and he's been limited to simulated games throughout camp. Lamet excelled with a 2.09 ERA and 35 percent strikeout rate across 69 innings in 2020 before being shut down. After receiving a platelet-rich injection over the offseason, the Friars believe Lamet avoided major surgery but he's still a major injury risk entering 2021. Not expected to be ready for Opening Day, Lamet is a precarious fantasy proposition as an SP3 and top 100 player.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
