Dinelson Lamet Exits Saturday’s Start Early
3 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Dinelson Lamet exited Saturday's start early against the Arizona Diamondback with an apparent arm injury. His velocity dipped to 91.6 MPH against the last batter he faced and after further evaluation by the trainers was removed from Saturday's contest. The 28-year-old was tagged with the loss and allowed four runs on six hits while striking out one across two 1/3 innings before departing. Lamet sustained a UCL strain last September and was on the 10-day injured list earlier in the season with forearm tightness. The Padres should provide an update over the weekend and Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation. Stay tuned.
