4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet (biceps) is not on the NL Division Series roster against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This confirms concern that Lamet’s injury continues to linger after he exited his last start on September 25. The 28-year-old enjoyed a breakout season, registering a 2.09 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 12.1 K/9 in 12 starts but health is now threatening his availability not just in the postseason but potentially 2021. Lamet previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2018 so there’s obviously some pessimism.
