Dinelson Lamet Makes Another Short Outing
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet lasted four innings Monday against the Colorado Rockies, allowing one earned run and absorbing his second loss. The right-hander fanned three while permitting four singles and two walks, but fell victim to a putrid Friars offense that couldn't muster runs until late. Through 27 frames (nine appearances), the 28-year-old holds a respectable 3.33 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 26 percent strikeout rate. However, he's tapered off at around 70-80 pitches per outing and completed five innings just once. He'll be a risky SP4 at home on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds.
