Lamet was dominant across 11 strikeouts, yielding six hits and zero walks while firing 111 pitches (71 strikes) in the longest start of his career. The 28-year-old breakout extends his impressive campaign to a 2.24 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 11.7 K/9 in 52 1/3 frames (nine starts). With electric swing-and-miss stuff, Lamet has established himself as the Friars ace and a reliable SP2. He wraps his two-start week on Saturday at home against the San Francisco Giants.
