Dinelson Lamet Mows Down 10 In Final Start
5 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet struck out 10 batters while surrendering four earned runs through five innings Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lamet yielded six knocks and two walks, taking a no-decision in his final start of 2019. All things considered, it was a strong bounce back season for the 27-year-old after missing all of 2018 recovering from Tommy John surgery. He finishes with a 4.07 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and absurd 12.9 K/9 through 73 frames (14 starts). Lamet is in poll position as a mid-rotation starter for the Friars next season and with a projected full workload, could earn SP4 status in fantasy drafts.
