4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet struck out eight over five innings of one-run ball during Saturday’s victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 28-year-old touched triple digits on the radar as he fired 59 of 80 bullets for strikes, scattering five knocks while walking one. By inducing whiffs and limiting free passes and long balls, Lamet’s upside was on full display throughout the evening.
