4 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Dinelson Lamet (biceps) was left off of the Padres' wild-card series roster. The Padres were hopeful that Lamet would be able to return from his biceps injury ahead of the series, though he has been placed on their taxi-squad for the series. It is a tough blow for the Padres after Lamet posted an excellent 2.09 ERA and 0.86 WHIP on the season while striking out 93 batters in 69 innings pitched. Chris Paddack and Zach Davies, who gets the start on Wednesday against St. Louis, will anchor the wild-card series rotation for San Diego.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
