3 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Dinelson Lamet (forearm) will start a rehab assignment Wednesday. As expected, the right-hander will work out of the bullpen to manage the myriad arm issues he's dealt with since last season. Lamet has been limited to just 34 ⅓ innings in 2021, posting a 3.67 ERA and 26 percent strikeout rate. With his wipeout fastball-slider combination, the 29-year-old could be a potent weapon in relief. However, due to his uncertain role and lingering health concerns, Lamet is no longer a fantasy must-hold outside of leagues emphasizing relief pitchers and managers desperate for strikeout upside.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
