Dion Lewis Posts 64 Yards From Scrimmage In Patriots Win
7 years agoNew England Patriots running back Dion Lewis atoned for losing a fumble when he hit the edge and turned up the field for an 18-yard run to secure the Patriots 24-20 comeback win over the Jaguars. Lewis rushed for 34 yards and added seven catches for 32 yards in a game that saw the Patriots down 10 points in the fourth quarter. New England ran a perfect trick play involving wide receiver Danny Amendola, hitting Lewis for a would-be 20-yard gain if not for the fumble by the running back. Luckily, the Jaguars went three-and-out on the next drive and Lewis was off the hook. He still is the unquestioned number one running back for New England and will be someone the Eagles will have to key on and bottle up in the Super Bowl.
