Diontae Johnson A WR3 In Week 17
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson found the end zone for the seventh time of the season in a Week 16 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He draws a plus matchup against the Cleveland Browns to finish off the regular season but he sets up as a risky play in fantasy. Pittsburgh has already wrapped up the AFC North division title and has little motivation to risk an injury to their key players in Week 17. They have already announced that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not play, meaning Johnson will catch passes from Mason Rudolph. The rest of Pittsburgh's starters, Johnson included, are at risk of not playing the entire game. Fantasy gamers should treat Johnson as a mid-range WR3 for Week 17.
