Diontae Johnson Wants To Stay In Pittsburgh Long-Term
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson wants to stay with the team long-term. "My understanding is that Diontae Johnson wants to be in Pittsburgh long-term. I think he's prepared to play it out...I think he sees himself as having a chance in Year 4 to be a top guy," ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler said. The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2022. He was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2021, setting career-highs across the board in receptions (107), targets (169), receiving yards (1,161) and touchdowns (eight) in 16 games played. Johnson is an explosive player, but his fantasy ceiling will be capped as a WR2 with Mitchell Trubisky now the Steelers quarterback.
