4 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu is back with the team, as expected, on Friday after testing negative for coronavirus twice over a 24-hour period. LeMahieu had been isolating after testing positive for coronavirus on July 4, but the 32-year-old was asymptomatic and able to return to the team in a relatively short period of time. Manager Aaron Boone didn’t commit to LeMahieu being ready for Opening Day, but it seems likely that the infielder will miss very little, if any, time to start the season. As a result, fantasy owners should expect LeMahieu to start at second base for the Yankees within the first week of the season.--Sam Chinitz
