4 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Friday's loss to the Nationals. LeMahieu had superb career numbers against Patrick Corbin coming into the game- and continued that trend, as he homered, singled, then homered again in each of his first three at-bats against the southpaw. The veteran infielder has six hits in his last four games and has raised his season average to .283. He'll have a tough matchup on Saturday against Nationals' ace Max Scherzer, who owns a 2.54 ERA and 0.85 WHIP in 39 innings pitched this season.--Tim Capurso
