4 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu has been activated off of the injured list prior to Saturday’s contest against the Mets and right-hander Robert Gsellman and will man the hot corner for the first time this season. LeMahieu has been on the IL since Aug. 16 due to a sprained left thumb, with his presence among a decimated Yankees lineup a much-welcomed addition. In the midst of a career year that has seen him hit .411 with a .990 OPS in his first 19 games, LeMahieu should be rostered in all season-long formats and he boasts a tremendous floor for the early DFS slate Saturday.--Jesse Borek
