3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, and three RBI in Saturday's loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. LeMahieu doubled in his first at-bat but was left stranded. He later came up with a huge, game-tying homer in the ninth inning, a welcome sight for fantasy managers given his lack of power this season. LeMahieu's contact rate is down ever so slightly, though his .302 BABIP is well below his career average, suggesting that he could be getting a bit unlucky at the plate. With six hits in his last four games, he appears to be turning a corner, though it might be worth fantasy manager's time to explore offers for the veteran if he truly gets hot at the dish.--Tim Capurso
