4 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu went 4-for-5 against the Braves on Wednesday, bringing his full-season batting average to .431. LeMahieu hasn’t missed a beat after narrowly missing out on the AL batting title last season, and although he probably won’t stay this hot over the entire season, there’s nothing to suggest that LeMahieu will hit below .300 for the year. Combined with above-average power (48.5% hard-hit rate last season), LeMahieu’s high batting average makes him an exceptional fantasy option at second base.--Sam Chinitz
