3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and a stolen base in a 4-0 win over the Houston Astros. LeMahieu stepped up the plate in the seventh inning with runners on second and third base and worked a 10-pitch at-bat, lacing a two-run double to left field to extend the Yankee lead. The stolen base was a pleasant surprise, as it was just his third of the year. LeMahieu has been the four-category contributor that managers thought they were getting over the last month, batting .317 with four homers, 21 RBI, and 13 runs scored atop the Yankee lineup.
