4 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu reached base safely three times in Tuesday's victory over the Astros. LeMahieu singled in the first inning and scored on a Giancarlo Stanton homer, then reached on an infield single and came around to score on a Stanton base hit. The veteran infielder hasn't truly gotten hot at the dish yet, though he's had 10 multi-hit games this season and has scored 18 runs at the top of the Yankee lineup. One thing LeMahieu hasn't done this season is hit for power, and the underlying numbers- career-low barrel rate and hard-hit rate- suggest that the homers perhaps won't be coming as they did in years past. Still, LeMahieu remains one of the top infield options in fantasy baseball thanks to his batting average, on-base, and run-scoring abilities.--Tim Capurso
