3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder DJ Stewart has been optioned to the minor leagues on Sunday. The 28-year-old outfielder went hitless over the weekend, so he'll head to Triple-A to continue working on his game. Stewart hit .204/.324/.374 with 12 home runs and 33 RBI in 100 games with the Orioles last season. There wasn't much reason to roster Stewart before this, but fantasy managers can safe place him on the waiver wire now. The Orioles haven't announced a corresponding move yet.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
