4 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder DJ Stewart has been scratched from the lineup on Monday night and will be replaced by Pat Valaika, according to Nathan Ruiz of the Baltimore Sun. The move reshuffled nearly every player in the lineup from their original position, but it ends with Pat Valaika starting at second base and batting ninth against the Mariners. There's currently no word as to why Stewart was scratched, as it's another bump in a rocky start to the season in which he is slashing .188/.288/.313 through his first 19 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
