DK Metcalf Could Get Increased Workload
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is likely to be more involved in the offense going forward. Head coach Pete Carroll mentioned he wants to get the ball in Metcalf's hands more often. "Everybody's working at it. We're trying to get the ball to him," says Carroll. Last week, Metcalf hauled in six of his 12 targets for 52 yards in their loss. It's obvious that Metcalf and quarterback Russell Wilson haven't been on the same page recently. It's also worth noting that Tyler Lockett was been cleared to return off the COVID list for Week 16. It's hard to imagine Metcalf seeing a spike in usage with Lockett on the field as well. Fantasy managers should consider Metcalf a WR2 for this matchup against the Chicago Bears.
