2 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf will look to improve on his subpar performance in Week 1 with a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers this week. Metcalf had great volume last week (7 receptions) but could only turn that into 36 yards. The 49ers only allowed 121 receiving yards in Week 1, but much of that resulted from a terrible rainstorm in Chicago - limiting Chicago to only 17 pass attempts. The 24-year-old seemed to be the favorite receiver of quarterback Geno Smith, getting a 25.9% target share in their season opener.
