3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) has been activated from the 60-day injured list and will start on Wednesday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gonsolin has been sidelined the entire season with right shoulder inflammation, but will return to a favorable matchup against the weak hitting Pirates. Gonsolin, 27, appeared in nine games in 2020 with eight starts and was 2-2 with a 2.31 ERA. The Dodgers had been using pitcher David Price as an opener in his absence, but that spot in the rotation will now be Gonsolin's.
