Dodgers Activate Tony Gonsolin For Wednesday's Start
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) has been activated from the 60-day injured list and will start on Wednesday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gonsolin has been sidelined the entire season with right shoulder inflammation, but will return to a favorable matchup against the weak hitting Pirates. Gonsolin, 27, appeared in nine games in 2020 with eight starts and was 2-2 with a 2.31 ERA. The Dodgers had been using pitcher David Price as an opener in his absence, but that spot in the rotation will now be Gonsolin's. Gonsolin should be rostered in all formats.
