Corey Seager Could Take Batting Practice By End Of Week
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) took grounders on Tuesday, and the club is hopeful that he will be able to start swinging the bat by the end of the week. Seager has been sidelined since May 16 with a fractured right hand. It's good to see Seager making progress, but he is still at least a few weeks away from returning to the Dodgers, and that is if he has no setbacks. Seager is hitting .265 with four home runs and 22 RBI on the season. Once Seager returns, infielder Gavin Lux will slide from shortstop back to second base and infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry will lose playing time. When healthy, Seager is one of the more valuable offensive options in all fantasy formats.
