Dodgers Looking At Ian Happ

2 years agoMLB Network's Jon Heyman reported Monday that the Los Angeles Dodgers have looked into Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ as a potential trade target. However, he noted that a trade for Happ would likely be a backup plan if they could not acquire Washington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto. Happ has had a productive 2022 season so far, slashing .279/.360/.436 with nine home runs, 46 RBI and six stolen bases. A move to the Dodgers would put Happ in a much stronger lineup, although he may not receive as much playing time.
