Dodgers Not Closing The Door On Trevor Bauer
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he doesn't want "to close the door completely" on starting pitcher Trevor Bauer being in spring camp with the team, but Roberts also said he's not completely aware of the situation regarding the league's investigation. Bauer is being investigated for sexual-assault allegations. He spent the second half of last year on administrative leave and isn't expected to pitch for the Dodgers again. Depending on MLB's investigation, the right-hander could be facing a lengthy suspension in 2022 as well, making him a highly risky fantasy commodity. Bauer had a 2.59 ERA and 1.00 WHIP while fanning 137 and walking 37 in 107 2/3 innings in 17 starts in his first year in LA.
