Dodgers Not Planning To Have Trevor Bauer For A While
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that he plans to not have starting pitcher Trevor Bauer for the foreseeable future, if ever again. Bauer was placed back on administrative leave last week when the lockout was lifted after spending the entire second half of last year on leave amid investigations into sexual-assault charges against him. The 31-year-old right-hander won't face criminal charges, but the league's investigation is ongoing, and he could still face discipline by MLB in 2022. Bauer was his usual solid self for the Dodgers in his first year in LA in the first half, but the fact that he may not pitch again this year has been extremely damaging to his fantasy appeal.
