Dolphins Cut Six Receivers, Going with Group of Five
6 years agoThe Miami Dolphins have finalized their receiving core, releasing Francis Owusu, Malcolm Lewis, Rashawn Scott, Drew Morgan, Leonte Carroo, and Isaiah Ford. Scott has been signed to the practice squad. Their receiving core will consist of Kenny Stills, Devante Parker, Danny Amendola, Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant. Out of this group Stills is the player with the most appeal. His ability to stretch the field make him a big time deep threat and the Dolphins' most athletic and versatile receiver. One of Parker, Amendola, or Wilson will emerge as a decent PPR option as the Dolphins will need a slot receiver to step up to replace Jarvis Landry. Grant is the clear fifth option and doesn't have any immediate value.
