3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German allowed four runs in Saturday's no-decision against the Oakland Athletics. German allowed a fair amount of traffic on the bases, including seven hits and two walks, while striking out six in four innings. He did manage to register 12 whiffs and a strong 39 percent CSW but surrendered too much hard contact, as evidenced by his 92.1 MPH average exit velocity against. German has been charged with 11 earned runs combined over his last two starts, the most of any two-outing stretch this season. He'll look to bounce back on June 25 against the Boston Red Sox. German pitched 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball against them on June 6.--Tim Capurso
