3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German (shoulder) could throw again soon and "ramp up quickly," per manager Aaron Boone. German was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation about a week ago, but it sounds like it won't be too long of an absence, given that the Yankees believe he can ramp up his pitch count quickly. The 28-year-old righty recorded three straight no-decisions before getting injured, though he was really starting to pick things up, allowing five runs in 15 innings pitched while fanning 20 batters compared to six walks.
