3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation prior to Sunday's game, according to Pete Caldera of the Bergen Record. The team recalled right-handed relief pitcher Albert Abreu from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. German, a 28-year-old righty, is 4-5 this season with a 4.45 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for more news on the injury but can shift German to an IL spot if they have that flexibility, or feel free to move on from him considering his so-so results this season.--Josh Friedman
