4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German struggled in his season debut on Sunday, allowing three runs over three innings of work before being pulled with 68 pitches. The Blue Jays jumped on German for seven hard-hit balls and two home runs, and the 28-year-old didn't help himself by leaving a few pitches over the heart of the plate. The Yankees were understandably quick to pull German on Sunday in his first regular-season action since 2019, but fantasy managers should expect German to pitch better and last longer into games going forward this season.--Sam Chinitz
