4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German is slated to take the mound on Thursday against Cleveland. The Yankees sent German down to their alternate site, presumably to work on some things after having a rough outing in his first start- two home runs and three earned runs allowed. The 28-year-old reportedly pitched well in a Saturday start at the alternate site, tossing five innings of one-run ball on two hits with a pair of strikeouts and no walks. German could be a decent streaming option against an Indians' lineup batting just .209 with a .681 OPS as a team in 2021.--Tim Capurso
