Domingo German Out Of Equation Until 2021 Season

4 years agoNew York Yankees right-handed pitcher Domingo German was eligible to return off of the restricted list come the start of the 2020 postseason, but manager Aaron Boone confirmed Monday that the club will not have time to ramp him up, with an eye toward his return coming in ‘21. In addition to being suspended for a suspected domestic violence incident, German retired via Instagram during the year, before quickly retracting his statement. In 2019, German went 18-4 with a 4.03 ERA and 9.6 K/9. Should he be a full-go for the start of next year, he make have some speculative fantasy intrigue, although fantasy managers should check back during the off-season for pertinent updates.--Jesse Borek
