2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German made his 2022 debut on Thursday, but it wasn't a welcome one as he took the loss in a 7-5 defeat at the hand of the Astros. The 29-year-old righty lasted just three innings while giving up five runs on six hits and a walk while striking out a pair, throwing 58 pitches in the contest. Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman greeted him with back-to-back shots in the first inning before they would each cash in more runners the following frame during a three-run rally.
