4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German was reportedly in a car accident in the Dominican Republic on Friday but is uninjured. German will be sidelined until mid-June with a suspension, but the 27-year-old should be a usable fantasy option after posting a 4.03 ERA last year. Considering that German gets hit hard with a .397 xwOBA on contact and won’t play for the first third of the season, he should be left off of most fantasy rosters at the start of the season. Fantasy owners should keep German in mind as his suspension draws to an end, though, as he should post an ERA below 4.50 with a strikeout rate north of 25%.--Sam Chinitz
