6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Domingo Santana (rest) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers. Santana will sit against Rangers right-hander Jesse Chavez, who will serve as the opener. Jay Bruce will start in left field and bat fifth. The 26-year-old got off to a great start in his first season with the Mariners, but he has cooled off in May, with a .215 batting average and .697 OPS.
