3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Dominic Smith went 3-for-5 with a double against the Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday. He scored once and drove in a run. Despite an underwhelming .713 OPS on the season, there have been some signs of life for the lefty swinger. Smith has posted a .300/.345/.560 slash line over his last 15 games with three of his nine home runs in that span. Many fantasy managers may have lost faith in Smith, but he could still be a major contributor if he can regain his 2020 form, and is worthy of a bench spot on fantasy rosters at least.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
