Dominic Smith Continues To Contribute
3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman/outfielder Dominic Smith went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the Mets 4-2 win over the Brewers on Monday. Smith was in the middle of a come-from-behind seventh-inning rally and plated the Mets first run of the game on a game-tying sac fly in the fourth inning. He remains on fire at the plate, slashing .409/.417/.909 with three home runs and seven RBI over his last seven games, reminiscent of his 2020 breakout season. With Smith locked in at the plate and hitting third in the Mets lineup, between Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso, he makes for a solid DFS play and should be active in most formats.
