3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Dominic Smith went 1-for-2 with two RBI in a 5-4 loss to the Marlins on Tuesday. That extended his hitting streak to six games, as he's now slashing .253/.320/.388 with 11 homers, two steals, 48 RBI and 36 runs scored over 101 games this season. He was hot at the plate in the month of July, where he hit .270 with an .823 OPS, five homers, 17 RBI and 14 runs scored over 26 games. Managers will hope that he can keep things rolling on Wednesday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
