4 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman Donovan Solano went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers. Solano turned on a sixth-inning Victor Gonzalez fastball and put it into the left-field short seats to tie the game at three. Solano has had a disappointing season by his standards to this point, slashing .268/.299/.380. His main asset has been his high batting average, as he typically has not hit for a ton of power, so his fantasy value remains very limited while his average is merely good.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
