3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Donovan Solano (hamstring) left Tuesday's Cactus League game against the Texas Rangers with a left hamstring injury. Solano injured himself running the bases and walked off the field with a trainer. We don't know the seriousness of the injury just yet, but with Opening Day just over a week away, there's a good chance that he may not be ready for the start of the season. The 34-year-old could have a part-time role on the left side of Cincinnati's infield when healthy, but he won't be much of an asset in mixed leagues. Solano had a nice .280/.344/.404 slash line, a career-high seven home runs, 31 RBI and 35 runs scored in 344 plate appearances over 101 games for the San Francisco Giants in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
