3 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Donovan Solano will be on the bench to begin Game 5 of the National League Division Series. Solano has been productive against left-handed pitchers this season. In 123 plate appearances against left-handers, the veteran is hitting .301 with a .344 on-base percentage and five home runs. The Dodgers are going with Corey Knebel as an opener on Thursday with left-hander Julio Urias, who usually starts, pitching at some point after him.
